This cable is used to connect your ADSL broadband modem direct to your phoneline via your adsl micro-filter.
Connect up your broadband using this cable to connect direct to your main BT phoneline socket (via micro-filter) from broadband modem/router to ensure optimum signal transfer.
If your having problems connecting to your broadband connection using this cable will help, as it connects directly from modem to phone line.
